My name is Amanda Wilcox. I am a senior at the University of Minnesota-Mankato majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Women's Studies. I currently work part-time overnights as a direct support professional with the Harry Meyering Center here in Mankato. Basically I work to try and help adults with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible.
When I graduate in December I want to work in the non-profit sector of Public Relations. Ideally dealing with either women's issues or health care. I am excited to graduate and am looking forward to starting an actual career.
